Julia Roberts Shares Snap Of Intimate Kiss With Hubby for 20th Anniversary

Star actress Julia Roberts is celebrating two decades of a blissful marital union to cameraman Daniel Moder!

The couple first met in 2000 on the set of Julia’s movie, “The Mexican,” and they went on to tie the knot after about two years in Taos, New Mexico.

Twenty years of marriage is indeed a huge milestone, and the brilliant actress could not help but commemorate the special day with a sweet Instagram post.

“[star emoji] TWENTY [star emoji]” the “Runaway Bride” star wrote, adding, “# can’tstopsmiling [blushing emoji] # can’tstopkissing [kisses emoji].”

The lovely message was penned under a throwback picture of her having an intimate kiss with her husband of twenty years.

Thousands of her followers flooded the post with likes, and a few fans commented, wishing the couple a happy anniversary and reacting with love emojis.

Among the well-wishers were musician Rita Wilson, director Sam Taylor-Johnson, actress and Julia’s niece Emma Roberts, and WSL host Strider Wasilewski.

Meanwhile, as the couple of twenty years celebrated their wedding anniversary, US Magazine detailed their relationship timeline, beginning in March 2002, after Moder’s former marriage ended.

There were rumors during the same year about Julia causing the split of Moder’s first marriage, and she was once seen wearing a DIY shirt with “A Low Vera” written on it.

When asked nearly a year after why she wore the shirt, she said it was private and declared that she stood by her T-shirt.

As you may know, the 54-year-old wedded her now-husband on her ranch in New Mexico on July 4, 2002. At the time, guests were only invited to “celebrate Independence Day” with the couple.

Two years after their marriage, they welcomed their adorable twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel, with their third baby coming in June 2007.

Regarding her kids, the “Pretty Woman” actress once told Harper’s Bazaar that she did not think the youngsters would ever understand how famous she was.

According to her, “When they were starting to figure it out, it was like, ‘You’re famous? And I said, ‘I think a lot of people might have seen the movie that I’m in or might know who I am.'”

She added that a few hours later, the children asked if she was more prominent than the pop star Taylor Swift.

As for her work relationship with the father of her kids, they have partnered on several movie projects over the years, including the HBO movie “The Normal Heart,” which gained Moder an Emmy nomination.

Julia also credited her spouse in 2015 for helping her get her role in “The Secret in Their Eyes,” another film they worked on together.

She said in a behind-the-scenes interview, “We’ve done a number of things together, and it’s always kind of nerve-wracking for me because he’s my husband, and I want him to think I’m awesome.”

The “Mona Lisa Smile” performer further confessed that if Moder had not been a part of the project, she believed she would not have been able to put together the performance she wanted.

The twosome and their family have had quite the celebration over the years, from their fifteenth wedding anniversary in July 2017, Julia’s 50th birthday in October of the same year, and several other social media celebrations.

Julia remains proud of her marriage to this day and is not the type to hide how much she cherishes being with Moder, who she calls her “favorite human.”

Last November, The Blast shared details of Julia commemorating her twins’ seventeenth birthday with a rare throwback photo on Instagram, showing the celebrants as infants donning matching head wears.

She wrote in the caption, “17 of the Sweetest years of life,” adding a couple of emojis, including cakes, red heart, and partying emojis.

Having a mother as renowned as Julia did not affect her kids’ growing up as she ensured they were raised out of the spotlight by protecting them from the public eye.

She also opened up about teaching them the concept of beauty, particularly with the pressure of societal principles, which she called an “interesting navigation.”

“The Normal Heart” star then revealed that the only approved beauty routine she recommended to her kids was a pleasing odor and huge smile on their faces.
