#MeToo Warrior: Beyoncé To Send ‘Clear Message’ About Sexual Abuse With New Album

The clock is ticking for the arrival of Beyoncé’s highly-anticipated seventh studio album, “RENAISSANCE.”

Queen B broke the news that she was releasing new music in June, and ever since, fans have been drooling in anticipation of the promising release.

However, before the big day arrives, Beyoncé is reportedly making sure that her new project has no controversy whatsoever attached to it.

With the slew of sexual abuse allegations plaguing the entertainment industry, Bey is ensuring that those working with her are clear of the scandal.

Beyoncé Running #MeToo Checks Ahead Of Album Release

According to an exclusive from The Sun, the “Check On It” singer is vetting producers and collaborators for her upcoming album to ensure they aren’t associated with the #MeToo movement.

The iconic singer is running #MeToo checks and rejecting materials from any artist or producer that has faced sexual abuse or harassment allegations.

Beyoncé’s new move to vet collaborators comes after producer Detail was involved in a sexual assault scandal.

Detail, whose real name is Noel Fisher, worked with Queen B on her 2013 hit tune, “Drunk In Love.” He was charged with 15 counts of sexual assault in August 2020 after allegedly raping five women and abusing a sixth between 2010 and 2018.

A knowledgeable source told the publication, “Beyoncé was devastated when she found out Detail, one of her collaborators, was accused of rape and sexual assault. She stopped working with him and her team now run #MeToo checks on any potential collaborators.”

As a result of the new #MeToo filter, Beyoncé has reportedly rejected two songs from some high-profile artists. Although the parties involved haven’t been labeled guilty, she hopes to use this avenue to put the word out about her stand on sexual assault.

“She’s sending a clear message to the industry in the wake of troubling cases from people like R Kelly and Harvey Weinstein,” the insider noted.

The source continued, “She’s rubbed some people up the wrong way, but she doesn’t care. She won’t go anywhere near you if you’ve been accused of going after one of her peers. Beyoncé  is a leader in her business and wants to set an example that any abuse shouldn’t be normalized.”

The insider concluded that “RENAISSANCE” is majorly “about empowering women.”

All About Beyoncé Seventh Studio Album

” RENAISSANCE” marks Beyoncé’s first solo studio album in six years, after the release of “Lemonade” in 2016. She shared the news of the upcoming project in her July Cover of British Vogue.

The editor-in-chief Edward Enninful described it as “music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul.”

Beyoncé has indeed delivered on the promise with the release of “BREAK MY SOUL” on June 21.

The hit dance track has been described as a daring House Sound reminiscent of the ’90s, with Robin S’ 1993 song, “Show Me Love,” sampled.

The tune, which has been dubbed a pride anthem, features vocals from Big Freedia and is produced by Beyoncé, The-Dream, and Tricky Stewart.

” BREAK MY SOUL” has received praise from Michelle Obama, Matthew Knowles, Jennifer Garner, Julianne Hough, and many more.

As The Blast reported, the Texas native put her ample curves on display in a spiky silver costume that barely covered her breast and her perky behind.

Queen B completed her look with silver stilettos and sat majestically on a holographic horse. Opening up about the new project, Beyoncé wrote:

“Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to release the wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.
