Singer Dolly Parton knows how to give her fans exactly what they want.
She is teaming up with Doja Cat to create a Taco Bell musical that will be available on the fast-food chain’s Instagram page later this month.

On Instagram, the “9 to 5” singer posted a photo showing the first page of the script, which reads, “Based on the true story of the Internet losing its mind.”
The musical is inspired by the Mexican Pizza, which will make its return on May 19 after being discontinued in 2020.
“I’m making #MexicanPizzaTheMusical with @TacoBell,” Dolly captioned the snap.
“Here it is y’all! We’re making a musical about my favorite pizza, the Mexican Pizza,” Dolly added later on her Instagram Story. “I can’t wait for you to see it!”
However, many fans were skeptical that it was really going to happen.
“April Fool’s Day was last month,” one user wrote.
“Can I play a cheesy fiesta potato?” another asked.
“Dolly. What,” said a third.
However, some fans were absolutely here for the news. “I am HERE for this,” one user wrote. “Please tell me there’s merch.”
“@dojacat what have you done?” another asked.
Doja Cat Brought Back Mexican Pizza To Taco Bell!
In a since-deleted tweet, Doja Cat tweeted, “We finally did it, the Mexican Pizza is coming back on 5/19.”
According to Newsweek, she revealed the news in a TikTok video after explaining the process of bringing back the coveted menu on Instagram Live. “I made a song about Mexican Pizza because I love it so much,” she explained. “I wish Taco Bell didn’t discontinue it a year ago and this lead me to this monstrosity of a beat that I just made.”
Doja covered Hole’s 1998 hit “Celebrity Skin” in the Super Bowl commercial that announced the collaboration between Taco Bell and the “Say So” singer.
“I got to do this f—in’ Tik Tok and everybody keeps calling it a jingle, it’s for Taco Bell,” she said at the time. “They want me to rap about Mexican Pizza so I just wanna give you a heads up before you see that s—, just know, it’s contractual. I know it’s bad.”
But now that Dolly Parton is involved, fans can’t wait to see the finished product!
What Does Dolly Parton Order At Taco Bell?
In a previous conversation with Insider, the “Jolene” singer revealed that she and husband Carl Thomas Dean are big fans of Taco Bell and their fan-favorite Mexican pizza.
In January, Dolly was asked if Taco Bell should put Mexican Pizza back on the menu. “I think they should,” she replied.
But what does Dolly eat when she stops at Taco Bell?
“I like soft-shell tacos,” she said. “I like the others, but they fall apart so bad, especially if you’re riding around. So I always get a Taco Supreme, with the sour cream and all that, in the soft shell. I love that.”
Dolly continued to elaborate on her go-to order, explaining, “I get an order of rice and beans. And I get mild sauce. I don’t like to get it too hot and ruin everything.”
Dolly Parton and Doja Cat’s “Mexican Pizza: The Musical” is scheduled to premiere on Thursday, May 26, at 5 PM PT on Taco Bell’s official TikTok page.
