Peacock Orders Mysterious New Show From Seth Rogen & Borat 2 Director

Comedian Seth Rogen and Borat 2 director Jason Woliner are officially onboard an upcoming mysterious new series for Peacock that is untitled. Having worked as a director on several famed television series individual episodes, Woliner made his feature film directorial debut in 2020 with the mockumentary comedy sequel, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (Borat 2). The hit comedy movie was nominated for two Academy Awards and cliched the Golden Globe award for Best Picture.
It is now being announced that Woliner’s next project, which is currently untitled, has been picked up by Peacock for a straight-to-series order. The upcoming untitled project, whose plot details are being kept under wraps, is a mind-bending series that mixes fact and fiction that Woliner has already been shooting for the last decade in the style of his work on Borat 2. Rogan will act as an executive producer on the mysterious untitled project along with Superbad co-writer Evan Goldberg. The president of scripted content for NBC Universal Television and Streaming, Lisa Katz, commented on the exciting news. Check out her full quote below:

While further details surrounding the upcoming untitled Woliner show are being kept close to the chest, it sounds very exciting. Lionsgate Television EVP & Head of Scripted Development Scott Herbst teases it as “one of the most bizarre, out-of-the-box shows I’ve ever worked on, and I can’t believe we’re even getting to make it.” Comedy fans are sure to be already gripping the edge of their seats thanks to the news of a comedy team-up audiences didn’t know they needed with the insane duo of Woliner and Rogen.
