Travel Back To The 50s At This ‘Hidden’ Disney Bar

Walt Disney World is filled with various family-friendly attractions and amenities, but there is also so much to see and do for adults as well!

In fact, throughout Walt Disney World property, Guests 21 years and older can find various bars, lounges, and other adult-only locations. One of the most uniquely themed bars at Disney World is located inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios Park.

Travel Back In Time At Tune-In Lounge

Disney

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to many restaurants and bars, but one of the most popular dining locations is 50’s Prime Time Cafe — a restaurant themed to the 1950s.

From the moment Guests step inside the restaurant, they will notice vintage decor, old-school televisions playing shows from the 50s such as “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “I Love Lucy”, as well as bright neon colors and theming.

Located right next door to 50’s Prime Time Cafe is Tune-In Lounge. Many people think the bar is just part of the restaurant as the bar is located in what looks to be the waiting area for 50’s Prime Time Cafe, however, this bar is actually open to all Guests.

Disney World describes this lounge as, “Sip specialty cocktails while watching 50’s TV at this retro hot spot! Add some thrills ‘n’ chills to your lemonade with experimental “electric ice cubes” that light up the room! A full bar is also available”

Whether you are dining at the restaurant, waiting for your table to be called, or are just walking by and needing some air conditioning, or just looking for drinks to go, Tune-In Lounge is the spot for you!

What’s On The Menu?

Disney

Tune-In Lounge is a full bar, meaning they offer a variety of wines, beer, and hard liquor, as well as specialty cocktails.

One of the most popular drinks is Dad’s Electric Lemonade, which consists of vodka, Blue Curaçao, Sweet-and-Sour, Sprite, and comes with a Souvenir Glow Cube!

Grandma’s Picnic Punch is also a great choice. Disney describes this drink as “Grandma concocted a wonderful drink for the family picnic.” The drink consists of Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Crème de Casis, Light Lemonade, and Pineapple Juice.”

Other Must-Visit Bars At Disney World

Disney

Tune In Lounge isn’t the only must-visit bar at Walt Disney World.

Located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is a speakeasy that is actually extremely hard to get into! Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto is one of (if not the most) popular bars on the property. This speakeasy offers a fun and unique experience in addition to delicious bites and tropical drinks

And located at Wilderness Lodge — one of Disney World’s Resort hotels on the property — Geyser Point Bar and Grill is, what I consider, a hidden gem. From burgers to salads, Geyser’s Point offers a menu guaranteed to satisfy everyone’s palate.

Geyser’s Point is located right on Seven Seas Lagoon in the Magic Kingdom area, meaning you can enjoy your meal while taking in the excellent views of the water and nature surrounding it.
