Dating app for single parents launches as people with kids get ‘ghosted’
A dating app has launched for single parents as they're getting "ghosted" when people find out they have kids.
Even – a sister company to Match – officially launched to help single parents get mingling.
The app came to light after it was revealed 57% of single parents are ghosted just because they have children.

Almost a quarter of the single parents polled (23%) say it’s typical to be met with a wall of silence when the date realises they can’t be as flexible with their time.
On the other hand, one in five (19%) say the ghosting happens the moment they tell someone they have kids.
The term "off-springing" has been coined by Even to describe the unkind phenomenon.

Marion Graff, VP of Acquisition, Meetic Group, said: "We understand that single parents have a lot to juggle.

The app – which is available now and free to download – means singles will be able to view up to 100 profiles a day.
To boost their experience singles can also subscribe to "Even More" to view unlimited profiles and find out who has liked their profile.
