Microsoft Teams is Microsoft's collaboration platform. It includes features for chat, meetings, note-taking, calling and file sharing. It's available on multiple OSes, including Windows 10, macOS, iOS and Android. Teams is part of Office 365, and it's available with an Office 365 subscription. And it's designed for use in corporate environments, thanks to is security focus and integration with other popular enterprise apps.

Microsoft first announced teams on November 2, 2016, and the company rolled the service out globally on March 14, 2017.
