England's footballers have opted to distract themselves from the pesky camels at their hotel by getting into some yoga.

The troops were put through their paces at the five-star Souq Al Wakra hotel they are staying in, going through a variety of stretches in a large circle in a courtyard.

The likes of Kyle Walker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Phil Foden and Mason Mount all channeled their inner-zen as England tried a unique, calming approach ahead of the World Cup in Qatar.

Their groans even annoyed one cameraman trying to film footage of England's hotel, with the crew having to go through a number of takes.

One local cafe commented to the Mirror: "The camels like to talk. It makes them popular with the tourists. Maybe they will keep England awake so Qatar will win."

Arriving that the hotel, manager Gareth Southgate waved at the supporters from the bus before going to say 'hello' to those who made the trip.

The former defended told reporters: "[The fan support is] going to be massive. I remember when we were out in Russia in our own little bubble. We saw all the videos from back home going crazy, it makes a big difference, it motivates us to be successful. We want to make the fans proud and happy.

“Of course, there will be some in the stadiums, we always have great support, but most will be at home and we just want to make them proud.”
