Hollyoaks has aired a surprise exit for Walter Deveraux.
Actor Trevor A. Toussaint has been a mainstay in the Channel 4 soap since 2018 as the deeply-religious Price Slice shopkeeper.
Over the years, viewers have seen Walter grow to become more tolerant of his neighbours ever since his grandson Mitchell Deveraux (Imran Adams) came out as gay.

However, Hollyoaks confirmed the character's shock departure following Walter's decision to leave the village during Tuesday's first-look episode on E4.
