Dawn French certainly knows how to put the fun into funerals after she shared her plans to be buried in her iconic Vicar of Dibley costume.
On Tuesday (November 29), the stand-up comic, 64, appeared on the premiere episode of Kathy Burke’s new podcast, Where There’s a Will, There’s a Wake, which sees celebrity guests asked to imagine their deaths and funerals.
And it’s fair to say fans weren’t disappointed with the hosts first guest as she opened up about her plans for her corpse when she dies.

She explained how she wanted to be laid to rest in a solid gold-like casket “like a sarcophagus” with a Perspex lid so that she can be seen in her “full vestments” at her funeral.
