EastEnders icon June Brown’s kids to star in funeral episode as Dot is laid to rest
June Brown's children are set to appear in a special episode of EastEnders, which will show her character Dot Cotton's funeral and a reworked theme tune.
EastEnders boss Chris Kershaw revealed that June's children, Sophie, Nim and Billy requested if they could feature in the episode dedicated to their mother's beloved character.
Dot Cotton was a chain-smoking laundrette worker who first appeared on Albert Square in 1985.

Her last scene aired in 2020, where she left a voicemail for her family, stating that she'd gone to Ireland to visit her grandson Charlie.
