UFC legend Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson once pretended to motorboat a TV reporter in a wild post-fight interview.

The mixed martial artist is known for pioneering the sport’s growth in the 2000s after joining the UFC. His time with the promotion saw him become light heavyweight champion, which earned him widespread fame alongside his eccentric personality.

But Jackson in 2011 came under fire for making outrageous comments towards a female reporter following his win over Matt Hamill.

A 32-year-old Jackson was being interviewed by Karyn Bryant, whom he suddenly asked if she was of black heritage.

After she confirmed she was partly black, Jackson launched a barrage of salacious comments. “I love all parts of you, even the black parts,” the American said.

He looked suggestively at Bryant before asking: “What other part are you?” to which the interviewer responded with: “I’m Jamaican, black and white.”

The Tennessee fighter then looked down the camera with a grin and said: “She Jamaican me horny,” as Bryant laughed off the lewd comment.

His interview took another bizarre turn when he said: “She's hot ain't she? That's why I gave her the interview. She's hot.”

Bryant responded with: “Thank you, Rampage,” but to the shock of viewers, Jackson followed it by adding: “I want to motorboat her. All on camera.”

Rampage then put his face near her breasts and shook his head to simulate the act.

“You know I be humping reporters so you might want to get away,” he said. “I've been away at training camp. Get away from me. Get away before I hump you in front of everybody.”

Bryant took it all in jest as she laughed uncontrollably. Fight fans responded angrily to the footage by claiming Jackson’s inappropriate behaviour had gone too far, though Bryant came to his defence by saying she was not offended by the incident.

She tweeted: “Since every1's asking: if it wasn't already obv, I wasn't offended by @Rampage4real at all. We were clowning around. I thought it was funny!”

Jackson had come under fire two years earlier for repeatedly making thrusting movements against interviewer Heather Nichols for almost a minute before being told to stop. That same year, he got on all fours to bark, sniff, grab, grope and thrust against a Japanese reporter.
